Feis by the Falls
(Spokane, WA - April 2003)
Our school feis, in every sense of the term. We had one judge and the only competitors were dancers from our school. Many of the dancers would never have gone to a feis if this was not offered.
The award system was very hectic for figures, and we never got our medals and the placements have long since been forgotten. Also, I felt terribly out-of-place in my solo dress and wig for the first time (and the last); it was only my second feis wearing both, but perhaps it was not the best environment to do so.
